Hot-Shop Partition Wall

Cultural, Interior Design, Fabrication

Toledo, OH

Location:

2019

Year:

When the Toledo Museum of Art does its live demonstrations of glass blowing, guests get an up-close and personal view of the whole process. Unfortunately, some presentations got too personal, with molten glass getting dangerously close to the guests on more than one occasion.

The Toledo Museum of Art reached out to mADE through our own talented glass artist, Ken Miller.

They wanted us to construct a partition that would keep guests safer, while still allowing for the open and inclusive feel that SAANA intended the shop to have originally.
