"Park(ing) day is a global, public, participatory project where people across the globe temporarily repurpose curbside parking spaces and convert them into public parks and social spaces to advocate for safer, greener and more equitable streets for people."
mADE's contribution to Park(ing) Day 2023 was a multi-use parklet that featured a variety of games and activities such as Mario Kart and Chess!
Toledo, Ohio's Park(ing) Day festivities were facilitated by the Toledo Design Collective, a non-profit urban planning and design organization which inspires transformative growth throughout the region.
